THE WORLD COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTRE (WCSC)
Thathvagnani Vethathiri Maharishi established the World Community Service Centre in 1958, with the primary goal of fostering individual peace that radiates to family peace and ultimately culminates in world peace. Today, approximately 225 Trusts affiliated with the Centre serve communities both in India and internationally.
This system of yogic practices transcends barriers of religion, race, creed, nationality, and gender, and is taught to all. Students are extensively trained in these practices to ensure successful careers and lead happy, peaceful lives. The World Community Service Centre, through its widespread affiliated Trusts, provides this invaluable service.
In 1984, Vethathiri Maharishi Kundalini Yoga and Kaya Kalpa Research Foundation was established at Aliyar near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. Under this foundation, a Temple of Consciousness was constructed in Aliyar, where Thathvagnani Vethathiri Maharishi continues to serve humanity with great vision and vigor, even in his advanced age. As part of this Trust, the Vethathiri Maharishi Institute of Spiritual and Intuitional Education (VISION) serves as a spiritual educational wing. Additionally, the Brain Trust, a wing of the World Community Service Centre, operates from this campus, providing a common platform for intellectuals to collaborate on solutions to fundamental problems facing humanity.
