UNIFICATION OF SCIENCE AND RELIGION

Science and religion had diverged in the Western world until Einstein remarked, “Religion without science is blind, and science without religion is lame.” The gap between the two has been further bridged through the teachings of Vethathiri Maharishi. By integrating science with Vedic philosophy through his unified field approach, Maharishi has combined science and philosophy into a single system of knowledge—Brahma Jnana—which illustrates how the primordial cause evolved into the present physical universe. This primordial cause, which Maharishi refers to as pure space, Allah, Almighty Father, or Brahman, consists of both consciousness and energy, with an inherent quivering and a surrounding force. The concept of a self-compressive surrounding force, thus far missing from science, completes both fields.
